Sarina studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and the University of Burgundy in Dijon/France. Her studies abroad she concluded with a comparative master’s thesis on interim measures in administrative procedures (Master of German and French Law).
Sarina has been admitted to the bar in 2011. Before joining the Cologne office of avocado rechtsanwälte she worked for two years as a lawyer in the practice group “Public Sector and Public Procurement” at the Düsseldorf office of a large German commercial law firm.
Sarina advises on all aspects of Public Commercial Law, in particular on Public Procurement Law, State Aid Law and Municipal Commercial Law. The focus of her activity is the comprehensive advice and representation of contracting authorities and tenderers in national and EU-wide procurement procedures. In addition, she advises municipal and private, also internationally-acting waste disposal companies regarding all aspects of Environmental law, in particular Waste Management Law, including its relations to European Law.
